Packers Prince shelby, or Shelby for short.
13.2hh 7 year old cob, who loves to meet new friends.
Shelby is a lovely little cob pony, who has mainly been my driving pony. Shelby has seen a lot, and is pretty much used to all sorts of things. However Shelby isn’t broke to ride as such, as I’ve never felt the need to. He has however only ever had me on him bareback, in walk and trot. My son has sat on him and he hasn’t been fazed, and is pretty much happy with me on him which is once in a blue moon.
Shelby has had a couple of sharers in the past, however they haven’t worked out due to those over estimating their abilities and not being capable of doing the things they said they could do.
Shelby needs an experienced person, with knowledge, patients, and time.
He is not a pony for someone coming out of riding school, or someone who’s had a few lessons with no basic training of ground work etc. Shelby is a softy but give and inch and he will take the whole 10 yards, so needs that firm but understanding person.
He would need a small lightweight adult, so no one under 18 years old please.
Shelby doesn’t have a saddle at present, so please keep that in mind.
Contributed will also be required, which goes towards his upkeep.
Very flexible on days, and how often with the right person. I’m a very laid back owner, but always on hand as have another horse to take care of, if I’m needed for anything.
